Sleeping in church

Last night's stay was in the attic and attached building of the church of San Juan Bautista. Mats on the floor served as beds for the peregrinos. Everybody loved the place. Dinner together - about 50 of us along with the two hosts - and a brief prayer service at night. So many people felt energized by the church setting and spiritual nature if the place. I found it energizing not because of the novelty, but rather the familiarity of finding spiritual energy in a church.
