I said goodbye to my fellow pilgrims from the night before because today I take one day off to go to Florence to meet my niece and goddaughter, Stephanie. After she found a job in San Franciscos right out of college, we rarely have seen her this past year - no, two years. So where else should we meet? Italy, of course.
Tonight: dinner with Stephanie and her friend Laura who just happen to be traveling through the same European country as me.
